Long-Lasting Natural Yak Chews – Medium Size

Inspired by a traditional Himalayan recipe, these natural chews were originally crafted as a protein-rich snack for mountain communities. That same time-honored method has been adapted to create a wholesome, long-lasting treat for dogs.

Each chew is made using a blend of skimmed yak and cow milk. A touch of lime juice and salt helps to harden the milk, which is then compressed and smoke-dried for 28 days. This process gives the chew its distinctive flavor and firm texture that dogs love.

These chews are rich in protein and calcium, low in fat, and completely free from preservatives and chemical binding agents. They are vegetarian-friendly and gluten-free, making them an excellent choice for health-conscious pet owners.

The hard consistency provides extended chewing time, helping to reduce plaque and tartar buildup while keeping dogs entertained.

Yak chews for dogs contain very little lactose—typically less than 1%—because the milk used is fermented, dried, and hardened, which removes most of the lactose. This makes them generally safe even for dogs that are mildly lactose intolerant, though sensitive pups may still react.

Once your dog has chewed the treat down to the small end piece, you can microwave it for 30–60 seconds until it puffs up. Allow it to cool before serving as a crunchy bonus snack.
